Scientists and Journalists Speed Dating
First, they practiced appearing in front of the camera, then they met with journalists to tell them about their research within 7 minutes. Polytechnic scientists took part in the first edition of Scientists and Journalists Speed Dating at the Warsaw University of Technology, which took place on November 16.
Katarzyna Rędzińska talked about her work in an interview with Weronika Puszkar, a journalist from Radio 4.
As part of the implementation of D.11, meetings and training are organized for WUT scientists to develop their skills needed to popularize scientific research. One of such activities was training and speed dating, which IDUB co-organized with the Science Advocates Association. Scientists appreciated the dynamic form of the meeting, which allowed them to quickly test new skills and get out of their comfort zone.
